Roofing jobs, done right
Shingles are one of the heaviest things that go in a dumpster. A roof that looks like it fits in a 15-yard can blow through the weight limit, so we size by squares and layers, not just space.
Roofing contractors get quick drops, pickups when you call and one invoice across jobs. Homeowners get a can placed where you point and a straight price before we roll.
After a storm, call early — we work storm jobs into the route as fast as the landfills and the day allow.
Commercial roofing: TPO, EPDM & more
Flat and low-slope commercial re-roofs are a different load than shingles: bulky membrane, insulation board and cover board that fill space fast but often weigh less. We size these jobs differently — usually a 30-yard, with multiple cans or scheduled swaps on big roofs.
- TPO and PVC single-ply membrane
- EPDM rubber roofing
- Modified bitumen and built-up roofing
- Polyiso insulation and cover board
- Metal roof panels and flashing (ask about a separate scrap metal can)
Roofing questions
What size dumpster do I need for a roof?
Most residential roof tear-offs fit a 20-yard. Larger roofs or multiple layers may need a 30-yard. Shingles are heavy, so tell us the square count and number of layers and we'll size it to keep you inside the included weight.
How much weight is included?
The 20-yard includes 2 tons and the 30-yard includes 3 tons. Overweight is $95 per ton from the landfill scale ticket.
Do you work with roofing companies?
Yes. Roofers are a big part of our business. We offer quick drops and pickups, multiple job sites and monthly invoicing for regular customers.
